According to domestic media reports, Tencent (00700.HK) has officially relocated and put into use its headquarters building in Guangzhou, positioning it as the central hub of the WeChat ecosystem, with its main business revolving around WeChat. As Tencent's WeChat headquarters office building, it can accommodate more than 5,000 employees.
The building's design project started in 2017 and was officially completed in July this year. It is located in the core area of the Pazhou Internet Innovation Cluster in Guangzhou, with a total construction area of 174,000 square meters, a building height of 207 meters, 38 floors above ground, and 4 floors underground. Some public areas, including the lobby, the second-floor platform, and the underground art corridor, will be open to the public around the clock
