
Germany replaced the United States as Brazil's largest overseas coffee market in August
The latest statistical report released by the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council shows that in August, the United States imported 301,000 bags (60 kg per bag) of coffee from Brazil, a year-on-year decrease of 46% and a month-on-month decline of 26%; meanwhile, Germany imported 414,000 bags of coffee from Brazil in the same month, replacing the United States as Brazil's largest overseas coffee market for that month.
