Foreign media reports that Tesla (TSLA.US) has sold out the new six-seat Model YL in the Chinese market as of October, with new orders indicating the earliest delivery time expected to be in November this year.
According to reports, the Model YL has received over 120,000 orders in China since its launch, with local sales officials stating that there are an average of 10,000 orders per day.
At the same time, facing fierce competition from domestic manufacturers such as XPeng (XPEV.US), Tesla also announced a 3.7% price reduction for the Model 3 Long Range version in China, with a local price exceeding $36,000
