This week, Lenovo Group's Wuhan industrial base welcomed a historic moment: the successful rollout of the 300 millionth smart terminal.

On that day, after the product rolled off the production line, a small ceremony was held at Lenovo Group's Wuhan industrial base, where Zhang Wei, Vice President of Lenovo Group and head of the mobile device supply chain, announced that the 300 millionth device is the latest foldable screen model, the Lenovo Moto Razr 60 Pro.

From its production start in 2013 to 2025, Lenovo's Wuhan industrial base has achieved a leap from 0 to 300 million units in just 12 years, evolving from a single-function manufacturing plant into Lenovo's largest and most advanced research and manufacturing base for mobile smart terminals globally. The smartphones and tablets produced here are exported to over 160 countries and regions worldwide.

The successful rollout of the 300 millionth device is a concentrated reflection of Lenovo Group's strength in intelligent manufacturing, which is creating a strong synergy with the rapid growth of Lenovo's mobile business in the global market.

Especially in the global foldable smartphone market, the Lenovo Moto Razr series has shown strong performance. According to the latest data from the authoritative market research firm Counterpoint Research, in the recently concluded second quarter, the global foldable smartphone market saw a year-on-year surge of 45% in shipments. Among them, Lenovo Motorola's market share doubled from 14% in the same period last year to 28% now, meaning that one out of every four foldable smartphones sold globally in that quarter came from Motorola. Meanwhile, according to IDC's second-quarter data, in overseas markets, Lenovo Moto not only maintained its position among the top four in revenue but also ranked among the top five in shipments.

Lenovo Group's Wuhan industrial base is not only a model of global intelligent manufacturing but also a core engine driving regional economic development. As the largest foreign trade enterprise in Hubei Province, the base has been the number one export enterprise in Hubei for ten consecutive years, with a cumulative export value exceeding $50 billion. In the first half of this year, the base's industrial output value reached 23.6 billion yuan, with an export value of approximately $2.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13%.

The base manager, Chen Shuli, stated that the development of the second-generation intelligent agent is currently underway, expected to be completed by the end of this year, followed by the third and fourth generations.
