
Ministry of Commerce Announcement: Initiating anti-dumping investigation on imported related simulation chips originating from the United States
On July 23, 2025, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China received an anti-dumping investigation application formally submitted by the Jiangsu Provincial Semiconductor Industry Association on behalf of the domestic relevant analog chip industry, requesting an anti-dumping investigation on imported relevant analog chips originating from the United States. The Ministry of Commerce conducted a review based on the relevant provisions of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China regarding the qualifications of the applicant, the situation of the products under investigation, the situation of similar products in China, the impact of the products under investigation on the domestic industry, and the situation of the countries under investigation. According to the evidence provided by the applicant and the preliminary review by the Ministry of Commerce, the total production of the applicant's relevant analog chips meets the qualifications stipulated in the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China. Additionally, the application included the required content and relevant evidence for initiating an anti-dumping investigation as stipulated in Articles 14 and 15 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China. Based on the above review results, and in accordance with Article 16 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imported relevant analog chips originating from the United States starting from September 13, 2025
