Autonomous driving company Pony AI announced on September 20th that it has officially entered the Singapore market and will collaborate with Singapore's largest transportation operator ComfortDelGro Corporation to deploy autonomous vehicles and related services locally. The two parties will first launch autonomous ride-hailing services in the Punggol area of Singapore, which will commence after obtaining regulatory approval. The Singapore Ministry of Transport announced in June this year plans to introduce autonomous vehicles into public housing areas (i.e., "HDB") and integrate them into the national public transportation system by the end of 2025. The first batch of autonomous vehicles will be put into operation in the Punggol area
