Cboe Global Markets, the operator of the Chicago Board Options Exchange, is seeking to extend options trading hours, pushing the U.S. market further toward "overnight trading." The company has proposed to add trading hours outside of regular trading sessions. If approved, CBOE will introduce a pre-market session from 7:30 AM to 9:25 AM, as well as a post-market session from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM
