Goldman Sachs Group CEO David Solomon stated that the recent series of losses incurred by several regional banks due to alleged fraud, while isolated incidents, should draw the market's attention to credit approval standards.

"We have indeed seen three incidents recently that, on the surface, seem to be isolated cases," Solomon said in an interview with CNBC on Tuesday. "They do not constitute a trend, let alone a systemic risk."
