In response to recent rumors regarding JD.com imposing a fine of 5 million on Midea and requiring merchants to choose one of two options, JD.com stated to Wall Street Insight that during the Double 11 period, platforms such as Douyin and Toutiao saw a large amount of false information claiming that JD.com was asking merchants to "choose one of two." Both Midea Group and JD.com have refuted these claims. This information clearly contradicts common sense and shows signs of manipulation. Such behavior not only constitutes unfair competition in business but, more seriously, deceives users
