Honeywell announces an update to its business segment structure ahead of the spin-off of its aerospace business

On October 31, Honeywell announced an update to its business segment structure in preparation for the planned spin-offs of two businesses. The Solstice Advanced Materials business is set to complete its spin-off on October 30, 2025, while the aerospace technology business plans to complete its spin-off in the second half of 2026. Starting from the first quarter 2026 financial report, Honeywell will disclose its performance according to four major business segments: aerospace technology, smart building technology, smart industrial technology, and process automation and technology. This new segment classification will officially take effect on January 1, 2026. The aerospace division of Honeywell, which will become an independent company after the spin-off, will be one of the largest publicly listed aerospace suppliers
