OpenAI's Altman: need more clarity on AI regulation from EU
MUNICH, Germany, May 25 (Reuters) - OpenAI Chief Executive Sam Altman said on Thursday there was a version of EU regulation that would be “quite good” for artificial intelligence but cautioned that more clarity was needed. “AI should be regulated,” said Altman at an event in Munich. Asked about requests for a moratorium in AI development, he said: “I don’t believe this is the optimal approach.”
