
Cainiao is the first to launch the "Next-Day Delivery Late Compensation" service in Hong Kong, with a maximum compensation of 60 RMB per order.

Alibaba's subsidiary Cainiao has recently launched the "Next-Day Delivery, Guaranteed Compensation for Late Delivery" service in Hong Kong. Packages sent from mainland China's Cainiao warehouses can be delivered to Hong Kong's pickup points or directly to customers' hands by the second day at the latest. If the delivery is not made within the promised timeframe, Cainiao will proactively compensate each order with up to 60 RMB.

Packages sent from mainland China's Cainiao warehouses can be delivered to designated pick-up points or directly to customers' hands in Hong Kong within two days at the latest. If the promised delivery time is not met, Cainiao will proactively compensate each order with up to 60 RMB. Cainiao stated that in recent years, more and more Hong Kong residents have chosen to purchase daily necessities from mainland China, including clothing, furniture, and various household appliances and digital products, with Taobao remaining the mainstream choice for Hong Kong users. Cainiao also mentioned that the parcel volume for consolidated shipments in Hong Kong has grown by over 20% compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, they are piloting local B2C delivery services in Hong Kong, which may become an important direction for future business development. Zhao Jian, Vice President of Cainiao Group and General Manager of International Supply Chain, stated that Hong Kong is an important node in Cainiao's global logistics network. Cainiao will accelerate the localization construction in Hong Kong to provide users with on-time delivery, door-to-door delivery, and other high-certainty fulfillment services. (ca/a)
