According to Dolphin Research APP, SensorTower has released the top 10 global mobile game revenues for July 2023. Sensor Tower's store intelligence data shows that Tencent's "王者荣耀" (Honour of Kings) generated $220 million in revenue on the global App Store and Google Play, maintaining its position as the best-selling mobile game worldwide. On July 8th, the game introduced the "米莱狄完美假期皮肤" (Milady's Perfect Vacation Skin), reaching the peak of monthly revenue. With the return of two limited skins, the introduction of the new hero Doria, and summer benefits updates, the game not only maintains strong player interest but also further solidifies its position at the top of the best-selling chart.
Tencent's "PUBG Mobile" (including "和平精英" (Peace Elite)) returned to the second place on the list with a revenue of $172 million. Among them, 62.8% of the revenue came from the Chinese iOS market, 8% from the US market, and 3.5% from the Indian market. In addition, the game also topped the global mobile game revenue growth chart for July.
The other two games in the top five revenue list are Dream Games' "Royal Match" and King's "Candy Crush Saga".
In July 2023, global mobile game players spent $6.56 billion on the App Store and Google Play, which is roughly the same as the previous year. The United States remains the highest-grossing market for mobile game revenue, contributing nearly $1.9 billion, accounting for 28.7% of the global total revenue.
