US Stock Market Update | New Energy Vehicle Stocks Decline, Tesla Falls Over 1.8%
New energy vehicle stocks are falling. As of the time of writing, Tesla has dropped more than 1.8%.
According to the information obtained from the Zhongtong Finance APP, on October 3rd (Tuesday), stocks of new energy vehicles fell. As of the time of writing, Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US) fell nearly 6%, Xiaopeng Motors (XPEV.US) fell over 3%, Tesla (TSLA.US) fell over 1.8%, NIO (NIO.US) fell over 1.5%, and Li Auto (LI.US) fell over 1%. In terms of news, Tesla delivered 435,100 vehicles in the third quarter, while the market estimated 456,700 vehicles. Tesla delivered 419,100 Model 3/Y vehicles in the third quarter, which was lower than the market estimate of 439,400. Tesla's vehicle production in the third quarter was 430,500, lower than the market estimate of 462,000. Tesla stated that the MoM decline in sales was due to factory upgrade plans causing temporary shutdowns, and the sales target of approximately 1.8 million vehicles for 2023 remains unchanged.
