Former Party Secretary and Chairman of Guizhou Bank, Li Zhiming, is under investigation.

On October 11th, the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission announced that Li Zhiming, the former Party Secretary and Chairman of Guizhou Bank, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.

According to his resume, Li Zhiming graduated from Wuhan University with a bachelor's degree in finance (correspondence) in July 1996, and obtained a master's degree in finance from Hunan University (formerly Hunan University of Finance and Economics) in December 1999. He holds the title of senior economist.

In March 1982, Li Zhiming started working as a credit officer at the Huangxue Business Office of the Agricultural Bank of China's Jianli County Branch. From July 1986 to October 1986, he served as the secretary of the office of the Jianli County Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China. From October 1986 to July 1990, he worked as an auditor in the Audit Department of the Jingzhou Regional Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China. From July 1990 to June 1993, he served as a staff member in the Information Department of the Hubei Provincial Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China. From June 1993 to October 1995, he served as the Deputy Director of the Office of the Hubei Provincial Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China. From October 1995 to January 1999, he served as the Deputy General Manager of the Xianning Regional Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China. From January 1999 to February 2000, he served as the Deputy General Manager of the Wuchang Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China in Wuhan. From February 2000 to February 2001, he served as the Deputy General Manager (in charge) of the Bank Card Department of the Wuhan Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China. From February 2001 to November 2004, he served as the President of the Wuchang Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China in Wuhan. From November 2004 to February 2008, he served as the President and Party Secretary of the Enshi Prefecture Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China in Hubei Province. From February 2008 to March 2009, he served as the General Manager of the Credit Card Department of the Hubei Provincial Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China. From March 2009 to May 2010, he served as the General Manager of the Bank Card Center of the Hubei Provincial Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China. From May 2010 to January 2011, he served as the General Manager of the Agricultural Credit Department of the Hubei Provincial Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China.

In April 2011, Li Zhiming moved to Shenzhen Development Bank from the Agricultural Bank of China, serving as the Assistant President of the Wuhan Branch. In March 2012, Li Zhiming transferred to Hubei Bank and served as the Assistant President of Hubei Bank. From May 2016 to December 2017, he served as the Vice President of Hubei Bank.

In December 2017, Li Zhiming joined Guizhou Bank and served as the candidate for the Party Secretary and Chairman of the bank from December 2017 to April 2018. From April 2018 to January 28, 2021, he served as the Party Secretary and Chairman of the bank.
