At the Huawei HarmonyOS Ecosystem Spring Communication Conference, the IM Motors S7 was undoubtedly one of the most eye-catching highlights. Regarding the relaunched IM Motors S7, its outstanding performance in space and battery aspects stood out. While many may focus on the performance and driving pleasure of the IM Motors S7, its comfortable riding experience is also one of its highlights, with space being a key emphasis here. As a C-segment model, the IM Motors S7 boasts C+ level dimensions, with particularly impressive rear-seat space. The second-row legroom extends to nearly 1 meter, and the shoulder room reaches 1537 mm, making it one of the most spacious models in its class.

Battery safety and range capabilities are crucial for pure electric vehicles, and consumers are highly concerned about whether the battery features unique safety designs and has undergone rigorous testing and quality control to ensure safety. The IM Motors S7 incorporates 13 layers of robust protection for its battery and adopts Huawei's standards from the mobile device battery sector. The battery pack features three layers of specialized protection at the bottom and utilizes an industry-leading high-voltage thermal runaway non-propagation platform. It also includes ten layers of thermal safety protection, supporting real-time monitoring, proactive alerts, active cooling, and millisecond-level power cutoff.

Range and charging capabilities are among the most critical concerns for potential EV buyers. The IM Motors S7 not only offers a long range but also fast charging speeds. It is equipped with Huawei's new "Whale" 800V high-voltage battery platform, achieving a maximum range of 855 km and an energy consumption of just 12.4 kWh per 100 km—the lowest in its class. The 800V high-voltage fast-charging platform supports high-rate charging and debuts Huawei's SuperCharge high-voltage fast-charging technology while remaining compatible with mainstream industry charging protocols, enhancing the user's fast-charging experience.
