Recently, companies such as SAIC Motor and GAC Group have successively released solid-state battery products, making solid-state batteries a hot topic in China's new energy industry.

As one of the preferred solutions for next-generation batteries, all-solid-state batteries have attracted attention from major countries such as China, the U.S., the EU, Japan, and South Korea, and have become a key competitive high ground in the global race for next-generation battery technology.

Basic structure and advantages of solid-state batteries:

The basic structure of all-solid-state batteries includes a cathode, anode, and solid electrolyte membrane, offering higher safety and energy density compared to traditional liquid batteries.

Advantages of all-solid-state batteries include greater safety, higher energy density, and longer cycle life.

Semi-solid-state batteries:

Many of the so-called solid-state battery products currently promoted by companies are actually semi-solid-state batteries, not true all-solid-state batteries. Semi-solid-state batteries represent a transitional technology from liquid batteries to all-solid-state batteries, with challenges such as yield rates, cost, charging rates, and cycle life still needing to be addressed.

The development of all-solid-state batteries still faces multiple technical hurdles, including material development and cell manufacturing.

SVOLT Energy's research and breakthroughs in solid-state batteries: The company has launched the first and second generations of Jelly Batteries, which outperform traditional liquid batteries in terms of energy density, safety, and fast charging.

The second-generation Jelly Battery has made breakthroughs in addressing issues such as internal short-circuit expansion.

Solid-state batteries are expected to play a leading role in the future energy revolution.
