$C STRATEGIC TEC(01725.HK) Interstellar Space Technology Group Limited is pleased to announce the launch of six commercial optical satellites and related aerospace products, aiming to enter the global market and expand its customer base with a highly competitive pricing strategy, capturing the rapidly growing demand in emerging markets and among small and medium-sized enterprises. This marks a new milestone in the mass production and commercialization of Interstellar Space's satellites, representing a significant step forward in the group's globalization strategy.
July 25, 2024, marks the first anniversary of the establishment of Interstellar Space's ASPACE Hong Kong Satellite Manufacturing Center. The group has launched commercially disruptive optical satellites on its official website, with resolutions ranging from 5 meters to 0.5 meters, priced between $35,000 and $990,000. The most eye-catching product is the 0.5-meter resolution commercial optical satellite, priced at just $990,000. The group also plans to launch nearly 100 satellite components and application services, including separation seats, multi-satellite dispensers, and 0.5-meter resolution lightweight cameras.
The group is confident that this series of satellite products will enable it to directly compete in the global commercial aerospace market, rapidly enhance its brand awareness, significantly broaden its customer base, and further increase its market share.
The commercial optical satellite market has enormous growth potential. With the rapid development of emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI), the demand for satellite remote sensing data, communication services, and navigation positioning is growing rapidly. The introduction of competitively priced commercial optical satellites with strong market demand will effectively lower the barriers to satellite applications, unleash market potential, and create significant commercial value.
In July 2023, Interstellar Space successfully built the ASPACE Hong Kong Satellite Manufacturing Center, the first of its kind in Hong Kong, covering nearly 20,000 square meters. The center has the capability for parallel development of various types of satellites, including communication, navigation, remote sensing, and radar satellites, ranging from 10 to 1,000 kilograms, with an annual production capacity of up to 500 satellites.
Interstellar Space's globalization strategy continues to make significant progress. While innovating and creating core satellite products, the group is gradually building a comprehensive aerospace ecosystem.
