Geely Auto's in-place turning patent announced

According to US Stock Research, Tianyancha intellectual property information shows that recently, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd. and RADAR New Energy Vehicle (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. applied for the patent "A Control Method, Device, System, and Vehicle for On-the-Spot Turning," which has been published.

The abstract indicates that the on-the-spot turning control method described in this patent, after the on-the-spot turning function is activated, determines the locked wheel based on vehicle steering and gear position. It then determines the first target output torque of the front axle power source, the second target output torque of the rear axle power source, and the target braking torque of each rotating wheel based on the current position of the accelerator pedal and the current speed of each rotating wheel. By controlling the braking of each rotating wheel based on the target braking torque, the vehicle performs an on-the-spot turn with the locked wheel as the center, significantly reducing the turning radius of the vehicle.
