Indeed, otherwise, what would traders live on during 'bad markets'?
I recall many investors calling the 'A-share market' 'Myanmar A' or 'trash A-shares.' To me, this just tells me they've failed, lacked self-control, didn't make money in the A-share market, and got harvested like naive investors.
That said, to be fair and objective, has the A-share market ever had bad times?
To be responsible, yes. The most recent was in 2016. The 'circuit breaker' was a terrible mechanism. The market was healthy, and the decline was market behavior. Forcing rule changes led to chaos, which should be condemned.
After 2016, if you criticize the A-share market—of course, that's freedom of speech—but sorry, I only have one thought:
[If you're bad, how can you even say it out loud? Blaming the market won't change the fact that you lost money; it just exposes your lack of skill and how you got harvested.]
