In the first quarter of 2025, when you look at the pure electric sales of Tesla and BYD, the overall sales figures are not surprising. If you take out all the pure electric vehicles with good sales in the first quarter, excluding Tesla's two models and the Xiaomi SU7 (which is a special case), the general characteristics are miniaturization (for commuting) and low pricing (for functional purposes). As the auto market enters an era of deep replacement, consumers buying pure electric vehicles are either naive investors unwilling to spend money or making more practical and rational choices for their second pure electric vehicle.
