AMD is the hottest, down 2% in pre-market trading. According to the Financial Times, China has announced new guidelines to gradually phase out American microprocessors from Intel (INTC) and AMD in government computers and servers, opting for domestic technology instead. The guidelines also aim to replace Microsoft's Windows operating system and foreign-made database software with domestic alternatives.
Intel is also affected, down over 2% in pre-market trading.
Nvidia is the second hottest, up 1% in pre-market trading. Nvidia's recent rise seems to have a breakthrough trend. TSMC and ARM have little change in pre-market trading, while SMCI is down over 1%.
VRT, a Nvidia partner mentioned earlier, hit a new closing high on Friday, rising about 10 times in the past two years.
Trump concept stock DWAC is the third hottest, plummeting 13.7% on Friday but up 5% in pre-market trading.
Blockchain concept stock MSTR ranks 17th in popularity, up 6% in pre-market trading. BTC has a slight rebound, returning to $65,000.
