The center has deployed approximately 20,000 AI accelerator cards, with a domestication rate of AI chips exceeding 85%, and an intelligent computing power scale of up to 6.7 EFLOPS. According to the VITIM app, on April 28th, China Mobile (00941) officially announced the operation of the largest single intelligent computing center for operators - China Mobile Intelligent Computing Center (Hohhot), which is currently in operation. This intelligent computing center fills a huge gap in the computing power required for the widespread application of artificial intelligence in China, rapidly empowering large-scale model training in industries such as transportation, healthcare, education, energy, and finance, providing a solid foundation and strong engine for the innovation and development of artificial intelligence, driving the growth of China's artificial intelligence industry.
It is understood that the intelligent computing center project was selected as one of the "Top Ten Super Projects of Central Enterprises in 2023", deploying approximately 20,000 AI accelerator cards, with a domestication rate of AI chips exceeding 85%, and an intelligent computing power scale of up to 6.7EFLOPS (670 billion billion floating-point operations per second).
