Soluna and its strategic partner have launched a new AI cloud service, Soluna Cloud, together with the partner, introduced an initial cluster based on NVIDIA H100 GPU to support the needs of large AI projects. According to the Zhitong Finance and Economics APP, green data center developer Soluna Holdings Inc. (SLNH.US) announced a partnership with a leading enterprise GPU server supplier, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure as a service provider ("strategic partner"). Soluna's new subsidiary, Soluna Cloud, has signed a cooperation agreement with this strategic partner to jointly launch an initial cluster based on the NVIDIA H100 GPU to support the needs of large-scale artificial intelligence projects. At the time of writing, Soluna's stock rose nearly 10% to $2.67 in early trading.
It is understood that Soluna is a company specializing in the development of green data centers, primarily used for Bitcoin mining and other activities requiring significant computational resources. The subsidiary Soluna Cloud plans to leverage its strategic partner's renewable energy high-performance data centers, known for their outstanding energy efficiency and sustainability, to help Soluna Cloud achieve its environmental sustainability goals.
Furthermore, Soluna's new Helix data center will provide customers with a growth platform to meet the growing demand in the market for more sustainable data center services supported by renewable energy.
