Recently, the "Jiangsu Province Party and Government Organs, Institutions, and Group Organizations 2024-2025 New Energy Vehicle Framework Agreement Procurement Shortlist Announcement (III)" disclosed by the Jiangsu Government Procurement Network shows that the Tesla Model Y has entered the Jiangsu Provincial Government's new energy vehicle procurement catalog.
According to the information above, the latest batch of shortlisted purchases also includes Aito M7, Avita 11, Zeekr SL03, Zeekr S7, IM Motors LS6, IM Motors L7, XPeng L6, XPeng E8 Executive Edition, Geometry E, Geometry G6, SAIC-GM-Wuling UNI-K/Z, QY A07, QY Q05, Roewe D5X, Volvo XC40, Caocao 60, and other models.
According to the open framework agreement procurement solicitation document (JSZC-320000-SCZX-K2024-0107) publicly announced by the Jiangsu Provincial Government, the scope of purchasers or service objects applicable to this framework agreement includes party and government organs at all levels in Jiangsu Province, institutions, and group organizations. The procurement indicators include sedans, SUVs, commercial vehicles, MPVs, pickup trucks, medium and large buses, etc., with SUVs limited to a price of 250,000 RMB, requiring a pure electric range of over 400km.

In Tesla's second-quarter production and delivery report released on July 2nd, Tesla's production volume for the second quarter ending on June 30th was 410,800 vehicles, a 14% year-on-year decrease; deliveries were 444,000 vehicles, a nearly 5% year-on-year decrease but a 14% increase from the previous quarter, exceeding market expectations, with a total of 422,400 Model 3/Y vehicles delivered. Tesla also stated that the company deployed 9.4GWh of energy storage products in the second quarter, the highest quarterly deployment to date.
It is worth noting that Tesla's stock price has recently surged significantly, rising over 6% on July 3rd due to the boost from better-than-expected second-quarter delivery volumes, marking a seven-day consecutive increase and setting the longest streak of consecutive gains since June 2023.
