Singapore data center newcomer Sustainable Metal Cloud is reportedly raising about $950 million in funding, seeking to leverage the global artificial intelligence boom to stimulate company development. Insiders say that this Australian Firmus Technologies subsidiary is finalizing a round of approximately $400 million in equity financing, in addition to undergoing $550 million in debt financing.
