Train services from Prince Edward to Ho Man Tin Station on MTR will be suspended tomorrow, urging passengers to use alternative railway lines

MTR Corporation announced that tomorrow it will carry out a large-scale infrastructure update project in the tunnel of the Kwun Tong Line. Train services between Prince Edward and Ho Man Tin stations on the Kwun Tong Line will be suspended. Other sections of the Kwun Tong Line and other railway lines will maintain normal services. Passengers can use the Tsuen Wan Line to travel to Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei stations, as well as use the Tuen Ma Line to reach Ho Man Tin station.

MTR reminds passengers that Prince Edward station will be the only interchange station between the Tsuen Wan Line and Kwun Tong Line tomorrow, and it is expected to be very busy. Passengers may experience longer waiting times for trains, escalators, and elevators at Prince Edward station. In addition, there will be different boarding arrangements at Prince Edward station than usual. All Kwun Tong Line passengers should alight at Platform 2 at Prince Edward station, and passengers should pay attention to special signage at the station.

MTR will collaborate with KMB to provide additional bus services on routes 8 and 30X between Yau Ma Tei, Ho Man Tin, and Whampoa District tomorrow.

MTR will mobilize 1000 staff members at relevant stations and bus stops throughout the day to assist passengers. It is recommended that passengers plan their journeys using the "Journey Planner" function on the MTR Mobile app before leaving home, and try to use alternative interchange stations and railway lines other than Prince Edward station, such as the East Rail Line, Tung Chung Line, and Tseung Kwan O Line when crossing the harbor
