Microsoft hits back at Delta Air Lines lawsuit threat: Your technology is too outdated
Microsoft is joining the ranks of cybersecurity software company CrowdStrike to counter Delta Air Lines, which previously accused Microsoft and CrowdStrike of causing a technical failure last month that forced the cancellation of thousands of flights. A Microsoft lawyer stated on Tuesday that Delta Air Lines' key IT systems may be serviced by other tech companies, not Microsoft's Windows system. Microsoft lawyer Mark Cheffo wrote to Delta Air Lines lawyer David Boies, stating, "Your letter and Delta Air Lines' public comments are incomplete, false, misleading, and damaging to Microsoft and its reputation."
