According to the disclosure from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) obtained by Zhitong Finance APP, Vanguard Group submitted its second-quarter holding report (13F) as of June 30, 2024.
The statistical data shows that the total market value of Vanguard Group's holdings in the second quarter reached $5.21 trillion, compared to $5.05 trillion in the previous quarter. In the second quarter, Vanguard Group added 77 new stocks to its portfolio, increased holdings in 2,483 stocks, reduced holdings in 1,441 stocks, and cleared positions in 113 stocks. Among them, the top ten holdings of Vanguard Group accounted for 27.95% of the total market value.
In the top five major holdings, Microsoft (MSFT.US) ranked first with approximately 676 million shares, a holding market value of around $302.1 billion, accounting for 5.80% of the investment portfolio, an increase of 1.19% from the previous quarter.
Apple (AAPL.US) ranked second with approximately 1.325 billion shares, a holding market value of around $279.1 billion, accounting for 5.36% of the investment portfolio, an increase of 0.46% from the previous quarter.
NVIDIA (NVDA.US) ranked third with approximately 2.145 billion shares, a holding market value of around $265 billion, accounting for 5.09% of the investment portfolio, an increase of 0.54% from the previous quarter.
Amazon (AMZN.US) ranked fourth with approximately 767 million shares, a holding market value of around $148.2 billion, accounting for 2.85% of the investment portfolio, a decrease of 2.39% from the previous quarter.
Meta (META.US) ranked fifth with approximately 189 million shares, a holding market value of around $95.5 billion, accounting for 1.83% of the investment portfolio, an increase of 1.14% from the previous quarter.
The sixth to tenth major holdings are: Alphabet Inc. Class A (GOOGL.US), Alphabet Inc. Class C (GOOG.US), Broadcom Inc. (AVGO.US), Eli Lilly and Company (LLY.US), Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Class B (BRK.B.US).
