AR glasses continue to innovate, with two major blockbuster products expected to be launched in the second half of the year

Mark Zuckerberg previously announced that Meta Connect 2024 will be held in the United States from September 25th to 26th local time.
According to Business Insider, Meta plans to showcase its first AR smart glasses at the conference. The new product will differentiate itself from the smart glasses Ray-Ban Meta and VR headsets Quest series, integrating the two product lines and further innovating in display technology. However, according to The Verge, the AR glasses released for employee testing this fall are expected to be officially launched in 2027.
In September 2023, Meta launched the smart glasses Ray-Ban Meta and updated the AI features in April 2024 with Meta Llama 3 empowering Ray-Ban Meta with excellent interactive capabilities and multimodal performance. In terms of reputation, about 85% of Ray-Ban Meta users rated it 4 stars or above, with a product recommendation rate of 94%.

CICC Securities stated that in July, TM Roh, President of Samsung's mobile division, announced at the Galaxy new product launch event in Paris that "a brand new XR platform will be released later this year." It is expected to be the first XR headset with Android XR operating system jointly developed by Samsung, Google, and Qualcomm.
