Alphabet Inc.'s subsidiary Google will invest over $850 million to establish its second data center in Latin America near Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, in a free trade zone. Eduardo Lopez, President of Google Cloud Latin America, announced at an event in Canelones Province that the data center is expected to be operational by 2030 and construction will commence soon
