Apple has been rumored to be developing its own iPhone 5G chip since 2018, and the latest news indicates that this highly anticipated chip will make its debut next year. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that Apple's own 5G chip shipments will reach 35 to 40 million units in 2025 and will grow rapidly in the following years, with an expected increase to 90 to 110 million units in 2026 and 160 to 180 million units in 2027.
