At the New York closing on Monday (September 16th), the yield on the 10-year US Treasury benchmark bond fell by 2.81 basis points to 3.6232%, with intraday trading in the range of 3.6607% to 3.6158%. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury bond fell by 2.11 basis points to 3.5613%, remaining in a downward trend throughout the day, hitting a daily low of 3.5238% at 20:33 Beijing time. The 02/10-year US Treasury yield spread fell by 0.824 basis points to +5.818 basis points, trading in a range of +5.567 to +9.089 basis points during the day, approaching a high of +16.424 basis points on June 23, 2022, at 20:55. The breakeven inflation rate for the 10-year US Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) fell by 3.91 basis points to 1.5295%, dropping to 1.5261% at 02:04, nearing a low of 1.4562% on July 27, 2023
