A spokesperson for Meta Platforms stated on September 24th local time that Meta will not immediately join the "AI Convention," which is a temporary measure before the comprehensive implementation of the EU's "AI Act." In May, EU lawmakers agreed on the "AI Convention," which is the first set of rules regulating the development and deployment of artificial intelligence.
