Tesla wins in investor lawsuit sparked by Musk's autopilot marketing

Tesla successfully dismissed a shareholder lawsuit that accused Tesla of supporting its stock price with misleading statements about its autonomous driving capabilities, although Tesla still faces multiple complaints and regulatory investigations regarding its marketing practices. The name "Full Self-Driving" is not accurate - the FSD feature requires continuous monitoring and does not enable vehicles to achieve autonomous driving, but Musk has repeatedly predicted that the feature will reach the level of brand promotion. On Monday, a U.S. district judge dismissed the shareholders' allegations in his ruling, which claimed that Musk exaggerated Tesla's autonomous driving technology and made promises such as drivers being able to "sleep in the car." The judge found that some of the alleged exaggerations involved future plans, while others may not necessarily be false
