Google's Europe, Middle East, and Africa region leader will step down after a decade in office

Matt Brittin, who was responsible for overseeing Google's business in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, stepped down after serving for ten years. Matt Brittin first joined this tech giant in 2007 as the head of the UK and Ireland business, then rose through the ranks to become the Vice President of Northern and Central Europe, and in 2014, he became the President of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to joining Google, Brittin had served as a consultant at McKinsey & Company for several years and also held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Trinity Mirror
