- In September, the U.S. CPI exceeded expectations, causing a temporary halt in the inflation cooling process and increasing bets on a 25 basis point rate cut by the Federal Reserve next month.  
- U.S. stock markets saw slight declines, with Nasdaq 100 futures down 0.35%, and Tesla dropping over 6% ahead of its "Cybercab" debut.  
- European stocks showed little volatility, with major German and French indices slightly up, while the Euro Stoxx 50 index fell by 0.05%.
