Li Auto is racing on the smart driving road

In less than four months, over 30 versions have been iterated, and Li Auto is accelerating on the path of end-to-end intelligent driving.

According to Wall Street News, on November 18, Li Auto officially launched its end-to-end intelligent driving experience day. Through park roads, urban roads, and highways, it fully demonstrated the real capabilities of end-to-end + VLM.

Vehicles upgraded to OTA version 6.5 can easily handle narrow community roads, roundabouts, U-turns, or complex construction scenarios, and also support nationwide highway toll station ETC autonomous passage, automatically matching the navigation destination to the AVP valet parking route, truly achieving a seamless experience.

The test drive event also showcased Li Auto's industry-leading AEB and the innovative AES automatic emergency steering function. Additionally, the OTA version 6.5 has focused on upgrading backward active safety capabilities, developing backward AEB (automatic emergency braking) and backward MAI (misacceleration suppression) functions. After the upgrade, Li Auto's active safety capabilities will cover all directional areas.

It is expected that by the end of November, "parking space to parking space" will be pushed to all AD Max users of Li Auto with the OTA 6.5 version vehicle system, truly realizing a seamless intelligent driving experience.

Li Auto's end-to-end + VLM is a new generation intelligent driving solution, representing a truly One Model structure end-to-end, and is the first to deploy the visual language model VLM on the vehicle-side chip in a dual-system solution.

From the announcement of the end-to-end + VLM early bird program in July to the latest progress revealed at the Guangzhou Auto Show, Li Auto has rapidly iterated on the end-to-end model.

At a technical sharing session, Li Auto engineers revealed that this model has undergone 25 version iterations in two months, with an efficient iteration rate of two versions per week, a speed that is rare in the currently competitive automotive industry.

Wall Street News learned that as of November 13, Li Auto's intelligent driving cumulative mileage has reached 2.67 billion kilometers, an increase of 123% compared to the end of last year, with over 3.6 million cumulative avoidance incidents in active safety. This indicates that Li Auto's intelligent driving is progressing rapidly and being widely deployed, allowing it to compete on the same level as Tesla.

The improvement in intelligent driving capabilities has also become an important consideration for many consumers when choosing Li Auto models. Currently, the daily active rate of Li Auto's urban NOA users has increased by over 32%; among its models priced above 300,000 yuan, the sales proportion of AD Max has reached 70%, and this proportion has even reached 80% among models priced above 400,000 yuan.

While enhancing user experience, intelligent driving technology has positively impacted Li Auto's sales structure. Particularly in the sales of high-priced models, the sales proportion of AD Max has significantly increased.

In the past, the emphasis on family users was a notable label for Li Auto. Intelligent driving is expected to become Li Auto's next competitive advantage, accelerating its path to becoming an industry giant in the second half of the new energy intelligence era
