On December 12 local time, the Financial Times reported that Google plans to collaborate with Samsung to launch new smart glasses and VR headsets, aiming to lead in the "next generation of computing" over Meta and Apple.

According to media reports citing informed sources, Samsung's headset offers high-fidelity display and user experience similar to Vision Pro, but will be priced "significantly" lower than Apple's Vision Pro at $3,500.
