After the release of U.S. retail sales data (the day after the CPI inflation indicator was released), the S&P 500 index opened up 13.70 points, an increase of 0.23%, at 5963.61 points; the Dow Jones Industrial Average opened up 68.70 points, an increase of 0.16%, at 43290.25 points; the Nasdaq Composite opened up 62.63 points, an increase of 0.32%, at 19573.87 points. Taiwan Semiconductor ADR rose 5.6%, NVIDIA rose 1.7%, Quantum Computing concept stocks rose 5.7% (yesterday's close rose over 55.4%), Rigetti Computing fell 6.6% (yesterday rose over 22.2%), Tesla fell 1.5%, Meta and Google A fell about 1%, Palantir rose over 1%, Broadcom rose over 3%. Chinese concept stock DouYu rose 30.6%, XPeng rose over 4%, Bilibili rose about 3%, NetEase fell over 2%, and the FTSE China 3x Long ETF (YINN) fell 0.1%
