Some semiconductor stocks in the Hong Kong market continued to rise, with the leading company SMIC initially rising by 4.5%, accumulating a total increase of 50% over the past month, with a total market capitalization of HKD 338.6 billion.

In terms of capital flow, SMIC has seen net purchases from southbound funds for 13 consecutive days, with a cumulative net purchase amount of HKD 10.67 billion.

On the fundamental side, CITIC Securities published a research report indicating that the Dutch government announced it would further restrict exports of several technologies and equipment used in advanced semiconductor production starting April 1, 2025. The core restricted areas include: advanced lithography machines, ALD equipment, Si and SiGe epitaxy equipment, PECVD, and measurement equipment, among others.
