
Sitoy Group Holdings Swings to Loss in Six Months to December 2024

Sitoy Group Holdings reported a loss of HK$67.1 million for the six months ending December 31, 2024, compared to a profit of HK$53.6 million in the same period last year. Loss per share was HK$0.0692, down from earnings per share of HK$0.0547. Revenue slightly decreased to HK$813.7 million from HK$813.8 million, attributed to a decline in manufacturing revenue. The board has recommended an interim dividend of HK$0.02 per share, unchanged from the previous year.
Sitoy Group Holdings recorded a loss attributable to owners of HK$67.1 million in the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, against an attributable profit of HK$53.6 million logged for the corresponding period last year, a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
Loss per share attributable to ordinary equity holders stood at HK$0.0692 for the reporting period, compared with earnings per share of HK$0.0547 recorded for the year-ago period.
The luggage and leather goods stores company's revenue for the six months under review was HK$813.7 million, marginally lower than HK$813.8 million booked a year ago.
The slide in revenue was attributed by the company to a decrease in revenue from its manufacturing business.
The board recommended an interim dividend of HK$0.02 per share for the reporting period, the same as last year.
