Mercedes-Benz begins road testing of all-solid-state batteries with an energy density of 450 watt-hours per kilogram

According to reports, the Mercedes-Benz test vehicle equipped with solid-state batteries officially started road testing this month. Test results indicate that the pure electric EQS test vehicle's range increased by 25%, with a single charge range exceeding 1,000 kilometers. It is reported that the solid-state battery cells used in this test vehicle are provided by Factorial Energy, with lithium metal used for the cell anode and a system energy density of 450 watt-hours per kilogram
