On March 14th, iQIYI's Fluorescent Night - 2025 Micro Short Drama Festival was held in Suzhou. At the event, the "Chasing Light Plan" International Micro Short Drama Competition was officially announced by Beijing Da Shiting. iQIYI founder and CEO Gong Yu stated in his speech: "Building a 'long + short' content ecosystem is iQIYI's firm development strategy." He proposed that iQIYI will continue to enhance the aesthetics and value connotation of micro short drama works, fully utilizing artificial intelligence and virtual filming technology to improve the production level of micro short dramas.
