MECOM POWER announced its 2024 performance, with revenue of approximately MOP 1.507 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.7%. The loss attributable to the company owners was MOP 3.102 million, a year-on-year decrease of 73.22%. During the year, revenue from the steel structure business increased by MOP 82.8 million, mainly due to an increase in sales volume and a decrease in the average price of rebar. Revenue from construction business decreased by MOP 72.9 million, mainly due to a decline in revenue from construction and renovation projects. Regular revenue increased, with facility management service revenue rising by 32.4%
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, MECOM POWER (01183) announced its 2024 performance, with revenue of approximately MOP 1.507 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.7%. The loss attributable to shareholders was MOP 3.102 million, a decrease of 73.22% year-on-year; basic loss per share was MOP 0.08.
During the year, revenue from the steel structure business increased by MOP 82.8 million or 8.0%, mainly due to an increase in sales volume and a decrease in the average price of rebar. The group delivered approximately 211,592 tons (FY 2023: 181,432 tons) of steel materials, including rebar, steel sheet piles, and galvanized sheets, contributing MOP 1.113 billion to the group's revenue (FY 2023: MOP 1.03 billion).
Revenue from construction business decreased by MOP 72.9 million or 15.7%, mainly due to a decline in revenue from construction and renovation projects by MOP 88.3 million or 38.2%, and a decrease in revenue from electromechanical engineering services by MOP 34.2 million or 40.3%. During the year, the number of large construction projects undertaken by gaming and integrated resort operators decreased. With the acquisition of new maintenance contracts during the year, recurring revenue increased, and revenue from facility management services also rose by MOP 44.7 million or 32.4%
