The China Electric Vehicle 100 Forum was held in Beijing from March 28 to March 30. Zhao Yuhui, President of ZEEKR Intelligent Tech Group, attended and delivered a speech. He stated that the retail penetration rate of new energy vehicles in the domestic passenger car market is expected to reach 47.6% in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 12%. However, the proportion of pure electric models in the segmented market is 58.4%, a decline compared to 82.9% in 2020. "This indicates that users' acceptance of new energy vehicles is increasing, but anxiety over charging mileage still exists," he analyzed. "Since the establishment of ZEEKR in 2021, we have already begun to lead the industry by two years in deploying ultra-fast charging," he said, noting that ZEEKR's charging network consists entirely of ultra-fast chargers, leading the way in every generation. Currently, ZEEKR has built 1,500 charging piles, with plans to exceed 10,000 by 2026. Zhao Yuhui also revealed that in the second quarter, ZEEKR will officially launch the world's first 1.2MW fully liquid-cooled charging pile with single-gun peak power, "leading the era of single-gun megawatt-level ultra-fast charging."
