On April 10, 2025, the U.S. government announced that the tariff rate for &#34;reciprocal tariffs&#34; on Chinese goods exported to the U.S. would be further increased to 125%. The U.S. has imposed excessively high tariffs on China, which seriously violates international economic and trade rules and goes against basic economic laws and common sense, representing a unilateral bullying and coercive practice.
In accordance with the &#34;Customs Law of the People's Republic of China,&#34; &#34;Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China,&#34; and other laws and regulations, as well as the basic principles of international law, and with the approval of the State Council, starting from April 12, 2025, the tariffs on imported goods originating from the United States will be adjusted. The relevant matters are as follows:
