Harvard University professor sues over Trump's review of $9 billion funding

On April 12 local time, it was reported that professors at Harvard University are suing the Trump administration to block its review of approximately $9 billion in federal contracts and grants awarded to the university. This review is part of the Trump administration's efforts to combat anti-Semitism on college campuses. The American Association of University Professors Harvard University chapter and the national branch of this academic organization filed the lawsuit on April 10 in Boston federal court. On March 31, the U.S. Department of Education, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the General Services Administration announced that they were reviewing contracts worth $255.6 million and a commitment of $8.7 billion in multi-year grants between Harvard University and the federal government
