Recently, some media reported that Zhu Xiaojing, President of Walmart China, stated at the Walmart Investment Conference: "In 2023, Walmart has two Sam's Club stores in China with annual sales exceeding $500 million. I am pleased to inform everyone that this year we expect the number of Sam's Clubs in China exceeding this sales figure to increase to 8." The media cited market sources, indicating that in 2024, the top 8 Sam's Club stores in China ranked by annual sales are: Tianjin Meijiang Store, Shenzhen Futian Store, Beijing Shijingshan Store, Guangzhou Dongshan Store, Guangzhou Panyu Store, Zhuhai Xiangzhou Store, Shenyang Heping Store, and Beijing Yizhuang Store. Sina Technology sought verification from Walmart regarding the above information, and the official response stated, "The ranking of the top 8 stores by annual sales is inaccurate information, and we do not comment on such market rumors and unpublicized information."
