
Xiaomi Auto executive: Xiaomi YU7 will not participate in the 2025 Shanghai International Auto Show

Xiaomi Automobile Vice President Li Xiaoshuang confirmed that the Xiaomi YU7 will not participate in the 2025 Shanghai International Auto Show, which will be held on April 23. Xiaomi will showcase the SU7 Ultra and the entire product line. Although the YU7 has received much attention, Li Xiaoshuang stated, "Don't worry, what is meant to come will come in the best condition." The YU7 is expected to offer two battery versions, with a maximum range of 820 kilometers, and power configurations including single/dual motor options
According to Zhitong Finance APP, on April 15th, Li Xiaoshuang, Vice President of Xiaomi Automotive, announced on Weibo that the Shanghai International Auto Show 2025 will open on April 23rd. Xiaomi Automotive confirmed its participation and will showcase the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra and the entire Xiaomi SU7 product line. A netizen inquired about the Xiaomi YU7, to which Li Xiaoshuang replied that there is no YU7. He also stated, "Don't worry, what is meant to come will arrive in the best condition."


Previously, the booth layout for the Shanghai Auto Show was released, and the Xiaomi YU7 was a focal point of industry attention. Recently, a blogger revealed that a leading new energy vehicle company's flagship model has been delayed for a month before its launch. Netizens speculate that it is likely the Xiaomi YU7.
Reports indicate that the YU7 will offer two different battery capacity versions, 96.3 kWh and 101.7 kWh, with a maximum range of up to 820 kilometers.
It is reported that the Xiaomi YU7 will feature pure electric drive, with options for single or dual motors. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive version has a maximum power of 220 kW for the front motor and 288 kW for the rear motor, with a combined power of 508 kW (691 horsepower) and a top speed of 253 km/h, equipped with a ternary lithium battery; the single-motor rear-wheel-drive version has a maximum power of 235 kW and a top speed of 240 km/h, paired with a lithium iron phosphate battery
